An open source, interactive map that distinguishes natural from non-natural land covers in a quantifiable and mappable way. It aligns with global definitions, standards and monitoring tools to provide a baseline for identifying natural lands that should be protected from potential conversion which can contribute to climate change. The Land & Carbon Lab is convened by the World Resources Institute and the Bezos Earth Fund.
