As part of Thailand's National Development Plan, and in line with their NDC commitments, the national government's Office of Forest and Climate Change introduced the REDD+ project to reduce the destruction of, and replenish, forest carbon stocks in Thailand. The activities include an awareness raising program that is delivered to communities across the country, and works in collaboration with local governments and on-ground experts.
