Georgia's NDC update
Georgia's 2021 NDC update recognises "the substantial role of municipalities in the achievement of the NDC and for joint development of 2030 Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans invites all parties at the municipal level, who will be a member of the EU Initiative - Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy by the year of 2024". This builds on their first NDC, which outlined plans to finalize a Low Emission Development Strategy in 2016.
