The CRF is not a methodology but a reporting framework, providing a step-wise approach to meeting GCoM commitments, and outlining the reporting requirements and timelines for cities. There are various existing methodologies and tools to develop inventories, risk and vulnerability assessments (RVAs), and climate action plans, which are aligned with the CRF. References to some of these methodologies are included in the CRF guidance note.

We also encourage GCoM signatories to reach out to their helpdesk as well as city networks and other GCoM partners in their region/country to request further support.
