Although GCoM does not provide funds directly to cities, under the Invest4cities initiative the GCoM works with city network partners and with financial institutions across the globe to mobilize the critical financing and technical assistance that cities require to take action.     

In addition, Regional/National Secretariats and GCoM partners in region/country provide support to GCoM signatories through technical capacity building and training activities, opportunities for networking and exchange of experience.
