Are there regional governance structures?

Tailored governance structures have been/are being established through each Regional/National Covenant. These coordination and decision-making mechanisms among stakeholders (e.g. coordination group, advisory committee, steering group/committee, etc.) recognise regional specificities and aim at strengthening information sharing, strategic steering and cooperation in local climate action. These mechanisms are key to ensure the collaborative governance of the Covenants and to encourage the identification and implementation of joint approaches for all the GCoM partners in a given region/country.
