Global Flood Awareness System (GloFAS)

GloFAS is designed to support preparatory measures for flood events worldwide, particularly in large transnational river basins. It provides information on both upcoming and ongoing flood events by combining information from satellites, models and in-situ measurements to produce: GloFAS Medium-range flood forecasts, GloFAS Seasonal forecasts and GloFAS Rapid Risk Assessment. It is a component of the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS).
